Studio Information & Policies
Lessons
Lessons run at your agreed time.
Sessions are available in 30 or 60 minutes.
Your time slot is reserved especially for you to ensure consistent progress.
Regular attendance makes a big difference in building vocal strength and confidence.
Payments
Lessons are paid in advance (a lesson is not confirmed until payment has been receieved).
Payment secures your dedicated lesson time.
If payment is delayed, lessons may pause until it’s received.
Because your slot is reserved just for you, missed lessons are still chargeable (see below).
Cancellations
Life happens — I completely understand!
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full.
Where possible, I’ll happily offer a rescheduled lesson with sufficient notice (subject to availability).
If I ever need to cancel, you’ll be offered a rescheduled lesson or a credit.
Parents/Caregivers in Lessons
Parents are absolutely welcome, especially for very young or new students.
That said, most children thrive in one-to-one lessons. Without a parent in the room, they often:
Feel more confident
Take creative risks more freely
Focus more deeply
Develop independence more quickly
If you’d like updates, I’m always happy to chat briefly after lessons or arrange for you to sit outside the studio. My goal is always to create a safe, encouraging space where your child feels comfortable exploring their voice.
Safeguarding & Professional Standards
Your child’s safety and wellbeing are extremely important to me.
I hold a current Enhanced DBS check.
I am fully covered by Public Liability Insurance.
I hold Professional Indemnity Insurance.
I hold a Safeguarding certification and Emergency First Aid certification.
Lessons are delivered in a professional, supportive environment where students are treated with respect at all times.
Emergency contact details must be kept up to date, and children should be collected promptly after lessons.
Online Lessons
A quiet space and stable internet connection help students get the most out of sessions.
Lessons can’t be refunded due to technical issues on the student’s side.

Your privacy matters.
I handle all personal information in line with UK GDPR. This may include:
Student and parent contact details
Relevant medical information (if shared)
Lesson notes and progress records
Your information is:
Stored securely

A Positive Learning Environment
Singing can feel vulnerable — so kindness and respect are essential. I’m committed to creating a supportive space where every student feels encouraged, challenged and celebrated.
